Good morning all :-) I hope you are all enjoying a fabulous sunny weekend :-)

The lovely Jo asked me to be a Guest Designer for the Basic Grey Challenge for the next 4 weeks ,, YAY !! :-)

the theme for this fortnight is ,,,

DIAMOND JUBILEE :-)

You can interpret this in lots of ways - Royalty, Crowns, Bling, Diamonds!!

PLEASE do remember that you need to use at least one Basic Grey product on your card

As always, our wonderful sponsor Simon Says Stamp is offering one lucky winner a fab $25 shopping spree in the Simon Says Superstore, just think of the goodies you could treat yourself to with that !!

For my card I used this very cute Party Girl image from Lili of the Valley

I coloured her with Copics and the edges inked with Victorian Velvet DI and then Star Dust Stickles added here and there. Her crown was glittered with Hero Arts Crystal glitter ,,, very sparkly and I added some gems too ,, very regal, I used a little Frosted Lace stickles on her underskirt and I also used a clear gel pen on the ‘satin’ ribbon :-)

I used some mauve coredinations and some papers from a Basic Grey Kioshi pack, all the edges were inked with Distress inks. I used a Heart Swirl die cut, some little greenish roses from my drawer and I hung a little Princess crown on the swirl. I used a Martha Stewart Arch Lattice border punch, some pink satin ribbon and a heart ribbon slider. The butterfly was made using 2 Memory Box dies, a Kaleidoscope and Moonlight, I love how these 2 combine together to give a solid base and gorgeous delicate fluttery wings :-)

Thanks for looking :-) the DT have made some fabulous fun and regal cards for you to see so hop on over to the Basic Grey Challenge to see them :-)
