Bird Lovers wedding card :-)

I made this card using the lovely digi download image 'Lovebirds on a branch' from the Digital Stamp Oasis
I coloured it with copics and 3D'd it onto a nestie cut circle. The papers are from Laura Ahley which I won on one of Steph's giveaways :-) Thanks Steph :-) I also used some silver stardream and coredinations.
The flower is from SU and the sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps SENDING SUNSHINE Exclusive Set

I added papermania adhesive pearls and I twisted 2 pieces of the fluffy ribbon together to get the feathery effect :-)

I am entering this into the :-

1,Digital Tuesday Challenge whose theme this week is 'Weddings' :-)

2, Cupcake Crafts Challenge whose theme is 2's
2 colours, blue and taupe,
2 shapes, rectangle and circle
2 ribbons, well there are 2 twisted together :-)
I also have 2 birds and 2 flowers ( one on top of the other !! ) :-)

Thanks for looking, i appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

p.s don't forget only a few hours left to get your entries into the Simon Says Challenge and the Funky Fairy's Challenge :-)

2 Challenges in 1 :-)

I borrowed this Rubber Stampede Vintage penny farthing stamp from Nina at Binky Crafts, I thought it was perfect to enter this weeks One Stop Craft Challenge whose theme this week is 'Vintage' :-)
I made the background using Tim Holtz alcohol inks on glossy card, adding some gold mixative in with it too. I then used black stazon to stamp the image abd cut it out using a nestie. The papers were a gift from Nina too :-)
I sprayed the grungeboard die cut shapes with slate and plum glimmer mists, they look gorgeous in real life :-)
The sentiment is from a SU circular set which I layered onto a circle which had been stamped with the large wheel and added a large brad in the center.

I followed the fab sketch on the Mojo Monday Challenge they are having a special week this week, promoting awareness and fundraising for the Alzheimers charity. Did you know that people who do crafts are much less likely to develop this dreadful disease, it's true !! So when your hubby/family complain about how much time you spend cardmaking, just explain that you're just trying to keep your marbles :-)

Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)
